Beautiful building with lots of interesting displays inside. Also lots of pamphlets about 3 Rivers Parks inside as well. Some lube animals like turtles, frogs, and snakes inside too view as well. Make sure to head down the stairs and back outside to see Jack, there great horned owl, in his own building. Very cool. Lots of nice hiking paths but bring bug spray because the mosquitoes are pretty bad spring through fall. Great place to bring kids. We’ve really enjoyed visiting Eastman Nature Center over the years. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful place with so much for kids to explore—trails, exhibits, and fun educational activities. One of the recent highlights was a scavenger hunt where kids searched for seven animal statues and learned facts about each one to earn a special rock from the front desk. I attended a free family event with my 5 year old son at the pond. My son had a great time and the naturalist was very knowledgeable and good with kids.
