10/10. I called the funeral home to help out with our dogs ashes after he had been cremated at a different pet cremation service place. Our beloved dog had passed away and was too large for the pet urns. When he was returned to us he was in two urns, I called and asked if it was something they would be willing to help us with because transferring the ashes into one urn was something I was uncomfortable with. I received compassionate care at the hardest part of my life and I will never be able to express my gratitude enough.
A week ago I got the awful call that my brother was on life support and I needed to get to ND as fast as possible to take him off. I am from Washington state and I thought because I work in the funeral industry this wouldn’t be hard for me. I was very, very wrong. I was going off of multiple days of no sleep and driving 20 plus hours to get to Bismarck, I was a mess, and mentally I was even worse.
