I have been using Eastex Canoes for about 5 years now. Never have I had an issue. We have always followed the rules, finished on time, etc. We have been on the creek when the water was super low but we knew about that previous to going out (If the whole state is in a drought... don't you think our creeks would be too? DUH!). The workers have always been nice and professional. Zero complaints from me, just good times.
Because of the drought conditions in this area, we called this canoe company to find out if it was even possible to do a trip in the canoe down the river. We were told that there were just "a couple of areas" that you would have to get out and pull the canoe because of shallow water. This was a MAJOR MISREPRESENTATION!!! For the last half mile of the trip, we all had get out of our canoes and hike as the men in our group pushed and pulled the canoes over and under trees that covered the water nearly completely.
