I lost all respect in the Iowa Easterseals for protecting their employee Jessie Rudin and the pictures she took.
If you have medical equipment that you no longer need or use Easter Seals is a great place to have it recycled and they will get it to someone who can use it and will appreciate your donation. Easter Seals also have many programs including camp Sunnyside for kids. The Ankeny campus is very convenient and well maintained. I’ve been learning more about Easterseals Iowa and all the different programs plus terrific support they facilitate and provide for children, families, and adults with disabilities and Iowans of all ages. My elderly neighbor is having some knee problems and it may be difficult for her to have to special order or wait on a specialized walker that she needs and will help her with her mobility. I was told to call Easter Seals by a mobile crisis worker with the DSMPD. Yet they did not tell me WHY or what they did. After 5 calls being transferred to the wrong people a very nice lady named Renee called me..Needless to say I did not need counseling! And I also was not in a place where I felt it was okay for them to meet me! They also have a different person everyday and I don't trust people and they were not able to help.After day 4 I got a call that THEY were discharging me!
