I was told to call Easter Seals by a mobile crisis worker with the DSMPD. Yet they did not tell me WHY or what they did. After 5 calls being transferred to the wrong people a very nice lady named Renee called me..Needless to say I did not need counseling! And I also was not in a place where I felt it was okay for them to meet me! They also have a different person everyday and I don't trust people and they were not able to help.After day 4 I got a call that THEY were discharging me! They really do a great job providing DME to those who can’t afford it!
This was game changing for my daughter. We had been to SEVERAL in patient stays, just before that was she at Lutheran, discharged against our wishes, was back two days later and they discharged her, I was mentally exhausted. I then received a follow up call from Mobile crisis that changed the game for us. They did an ROI, we left Lutheran and went straight to Easter Seals.
