EASTERN IS THE WORST BUS SERVICE THE WORST. I took the bus from NY->DC on 12/14.Driver was rude from start; spoke little English. The bus got a flat tire on I-95S. Then bus died. We had no lights, no hazard lights & no emergency flares. All the driver could say is BUS COMING. The number for Eastern Travel didn’t work. A woman had the driver call the company, they said NO BUS,TOW TRUCK. We called police, police arrived & spoke to the company; a truck arrived to repair the tire. Cheap prices, but service should be improved A trip from DC to NYC costs only $35 round trip per person, so the price is definitely great. But the employees of the bus company yell in English and Chinese to get on the bus, to put your bags away, that you cannot get a break at the rest stop, etc. The price is fantastic, and the buses usually are on time and where they are supposed to be, so if you can deal with the employees, then this bus line is for you.
