This man has taken care of me andmy heart for 26 years! He and his staff have been there for me every time I’ve needed them, and sometimes it was an all hours of the night when I was taken to the emergency room- Dr. Peterson would show up and handle all that was needed. I have friends and family that have driven 2 1/2 hours from central Alabama to his office for the necessary heart care.
Everything can be done right in the office. No need to go to the hospital for diagnostics. Dr. Peterson always calls me back same day following testing with results and recommendations.
Dr. Peterson told me that diastolic blood pressure is Not important at all. When I was explaining that I’m having to take two medications and one doesn’t work without the other (per my OB and two other doctors) and because of this, I have been in the ER four times with readings of 190/118 even on medication. The doctor was very polite and helpful. The woman that did my treadmill test was rude and pushy and yelled at me when I had to step off of the treadmill. The receptionist at the front desk clearly had better places to be and wanted a co-pay even though my deductible had been met. I guess most people dont understand their health insurance so this place trys to charge everyone. We ended up taking the recommendations of many people and seeing the cardiologists at USA Hospital.
