Wow, is about all I have to say! We ended up visiting the ER after our daughter slipped and fell on a rock, at Gold Lake, while we were vacationing in the area. Coming from a bigger city (Reno), we are used to long waits, rushed service, subpar care. Upon entering the ER, we were immediately greeted, and our daughter was carried back, by a nurse to the exam area. They gave her some stuffed animals and toys to keep, and made her comfortable. Wow. What an amazing experience. We were camping in Clio when my 2yo was miserable and couldn't stop scratching. Being 2 hours from home and not able to help our son, I headed to the ER. It was 9 at night. We got to the ER, and the nurses were amazin . My son wanted nothing to do with them, but they were super patient with him. After filling out paperwork and calming down my son, the doctor came in, diagnosed him with HFMD and sent us out as quickly as possible so we could make it to the store before they close . This past weekend I visited my parents who were vacationing in Graeagle. My mom who is in her 70s got chest pains with pain radiating down her arm, so you know what we were thinking... I drove my parents to the ER. The nurse in the ER immediately looked at her and began assessing her. This visit was one of the worst experiences of my life!! The staff did not care about me, or my issues. People go to th ER because they are scared and in pain...I was treated worse than a rabid animal needing to be put down....HORRIBLE....I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!! I wouldn't even give it one star, but it makes you choose one to leave a comment!
