The long term care facilities in both portola and loyalton our in dire need of a better supervisor. Lorraine (D.O.N) is well known throughout the county as a harsh and Nasty individual. She is very unprofessional and because of her unprofessionalism and lack of leadership skills, I would never recommend a local to allow their family memeber to be placed in this facility for long term care. I came in for an emergency here and everyone from the woman working at the front desk, the cna, nurses, and lab technician I worked with were absolutely wonderful. They even put up with my moodiness like it was nothing when I first came in lol. My care was very thural, and my direction of what to do next and where to go to seek follow up care was easy to understand. I highly recommend this hospital and it's incredible team of people working here. Thank you all again.

If this hospital has a real emergency situation, they will care flight you to a real hospital in Reno Nevada . They can not handle much of anything in this hospital, if there were a zero rating, that is what I would give it!!

I've always have had good service with Eastern Plumas but today the lady who does mamagrams came out and said they had no record of me ever having one there and questioned me was I sure it was there like I didn't know where I had it done. She proceeded to say they don't keep records after 10 years and I said well that's probably why because it was a while ago. So I went across the street to get my medical records for another reason and talk to lady over there and told her what had just happened she said the records go back f... read more

Er doc was busy bad mouthing Renown and was wasting my time. I will never return. If I pass from afib, so be it. Stay away.
