I love Dr Montero. 8yrs on dialysis got transplant 4yrs ago. Great staff. ECU transplant team thank you.
My daughter missed some appointments and they are refusing to treat her at all. As far as I can see they is the only Nephrology provider between New Bern, Havelock and Kinston. Bullying is one thing but refuse people even with 9% Kidney function shocking. The lady at the front desk was short with us IMHO. Even with a fresh referral, we could not pin down time when she would be reconsidered. To add insult to injury, without real competion it seems like whatever behavior they display is tolerated.
I have been coming here for a very long time. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with renal failure at a young age, and staved off dialysis for over 16 years. I was scared when I finally got to a point where my symptoms were so bad I had to be put in dialysis but from the first time I met De. Montero he put my mind at ease. This man has saved my life numerous times and even when I’m scared because something has gone wrong in the past he has been there for me! I couldn’t have asked for a better nephrologist!
