Jessica did my haircut a couple of months ago, and I loved it! I stopped by again last night for a wash and blowout because I have an event tonight. Jessica was so nice and helped me straighten my hair. It looks great! What impressed me most is that the haircut she gave me months ago has maintained its shape, just as she said it would. You can really tell how much care and effort she puts into her work and how much she genuinely enjoys what she does. Highly recommend her!
I am NEVER going anywhere else to get my hair done. Supporting my Chinese people, especially fellow hoi-san, makes this experience even more special to me. I had such a great experience at this salon with Evan Z.! I came in with really long, dry hair and originally asked if he could cut it very short. Evan was honest with me and said no because my hair is very thick and he knew I likely wouldn’t be happy with the end result. I really respect a hairstylist who isn’t afraid to be honest with their client and prioritize what will actually look best rather than just doing exactly what they’re asked. I’m from Chicago and unfamiliar with this area, so I was nervous to try someplace new. However, I was desperate for a haircut. I’m so glad I came across this place. I’ve been going to Eastern Hair Studio for two years now, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about them! Everyone is so nice, funny, friendly, and personable. They really know their clients and make you feel comfortable every time you come in.
