So I’ve been a patient for 7 years. I had a procedure recently that the office said was completely covered by my insurance. Fast forward 2 months and I get a text saying I owe $450.00. Now I know that can’t be right because that place won’t touch you without payment up front. I go to the office and speak with a young woman in her cubicle, (didn’t ask her name but she started as the receptionist) so she must have gotten a promotion, who tells me they made a mistake and my procedure was not 100% covered. Exceptional workmanship
I had to get an emergency tooth removal after an old crown fell out and the tooth died. Honestly the front desk staff was great. The only issue I had was that I thought I was getting my tooth out on the initial appointment which is why I left 4 stars. Other than that they were able to get me in quickly, got my tooth out within 2 days. And Doctor Joy Davis who extracted my tooth was great! I saw some comments about dental insurance and X-rays. They over book. I was called in 30 minutes after my appointment. Then they took X-rays. Waited another 5 minutes for Dr to come in to talk to me. Then I was told to wait in the waiting room and they would call me in when a hygienist was available. I left.
There is no reason to overbook and have customers/ patients come in at 8 am just to wait 45 min to an hour to be seen. Absurd. Inconsiderate and not the norm in other practices.
