We recently signed a contract to purchase a property through Jakson Shearer (Eastell and Co agency) after being told there were multiple offers. The agent strongly pushed us to sign as soon as possible, which we did — immediately after our conveyancer reviewed the contract. Despite this, the seller didn’t sign in time, and a couple of hours after we signed the contract, we lost the property to another buyer.
