I’ve experienced the same horrible customer service as described by others at this specific branch. Despite being a loyal customer since 2012, I was treated with utter disrespect. In December 2025, I visited this branch to opt out of physical mailing. The older female staff member at the front desk made highly inappropriate and offensive comments regarding my financial status. I waited in line for a long time at this Diamond Bar branch only to be completely turned away. I have an East West Bank credit card and simply wanted to add an authorized user (supplementary card). The teller refused to help and said I “must have a savings and checking account” with them first. This is nonsense. I called the credit card department later and they confirmed it can be done over the phone without any checking/savings account. William Chik his etiquette was highly professional and also successfully resolved the customer’s needs over the phone.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The bank informed me that they are closing my account with no explicit explanation. They closed it on the day that I already set up payments to multiple accounts and blocked any transfers in or out and caused me to incur multiple fees due to blocked checks. I called and emailed KELLY and she has been dodging my calls and not replying to any of my emails. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE.
