I had high hopes for East Village Pizza, but apparently my slice was participating in a new minimalist art exhibit called “Where Is the Sauce?” As most pizza experts know, pizza generally consists of three main ingredients: crust, sauce, and cheese. Great neighborhood pizza spot with a lot of solid options. The Pepperoni Jalapeño was my favorite, packed with savory flavor and just the right amount of heat. The classic Pepperoni Slice had crispy crust, juicy pepperoni, and plenty of melty cheese. Even the Plain Cheese stood out, especially with a drizzle of hot honey that added a sweet and savory twist. The Baked Ziti slice was rich and satisfying, with a chewy, crispy texture when served fresh from the oven.

stopped by East Village Pizza and honestly couldn't decide what to order, so I ended up trying 5 different slices: Margarita, Pepperoni, Jalapeño Pepperoni, Plain Cheese, and Baked Ziti. Every slice was delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was generous, and the flavors were exactly what you want from a great NYC pizza spot. My favorites were definitely the Jalapeño Pepperoni and Margarita. Adding some extra parmesan made them even better. East Village Pizza is a must-visit if you're looking for a classic New York slice. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and had that perfect balance of a crispy crust and cheesy goodness. We tried several slices, including the Margherita, Pepperoni, Baked Ziti, and Pepperoni Jalapeño, and every one of them was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, the slices were generously topped, and the freshly grated parmesan added the perfect finishing touch.
