I got a haircut with Sky today; she is amazing :) I got exactly what I wanted for my hair, and will definitely be coming back!!
I was honestly a little nervous coming in for the first time. I’m pretty simple when it comes to my hair, and compared to the super cool styles this salon puts out, I definitely felt like I was a basic B. But Kym was amazing, she made me feel so comfortable right away. She listened to what I wanted, gave her own suggestions, and explained what she was doing along the way. Today I had my first appointment with Sid, I say first because it certainly won’t be the last. As a biracial trans person I’ve always had a hard time finding someone who knew how to handle my hair. Sid took the time to listen to all my concerns and was able to address them all. They really made me feel at home and had me giggling the whole time. This is the first time I’ve walked out of a haircut without a complaint. Thank you so much Sid, I’m so excited for my next cut. East Vanity is lucky to have you!
Omg soo I just had an appointment with Teresa, colour me obsessed!! I will be back she had a such a positive vibe; she made me feel comfortable, and heard! I’d recommend her to anyone with a pulse, honestly I’d recommend her to those without. She would eat at a morgue, but not like in a cannibalistic way.
Got a refresh shag with Sid and I LOVE IT. Sid was friendly, funny, relaxed and a total pro. The Parlour was busy, great vibe and cool decor. Look forward to my next visit and highly recommend.
