Mauna Lea the office manager is very welcoming. Dr Spurny performed the best eye exam I've ever had. A true teacher, experienced and quickly found I have cataracts. Office will prepare a letter to be sent to my primary doctor.
A rare thing these days is good communication - a doctor that takes the time to explain everything in accessible language with diagrams. Highly recommended.

Dr. Spurny is a well educated doctor who cares about his patients. He is thorough in his exams. He explains things in a manner in which I can understand. We discuss options & decide together what will work best for me. It is not just his way or the highway. I look forward to my visits with him.
