Had ETR out to diagnose a problem. They told me it was a refrigerant leak in the line where it runs through my foundation, and a new line needed to be run up eave of the house into the attic. They also strongly recommended a complete upgrade since r22 was discontinued. We agreed to a new unit but as the crew finished I noticed they just connected it to the original refrigerant line they said was leaking and then the installation crew said their was no leak! We recently purchased a home in Bullard which was built new in 2003. The two previous homeowners, I came to find out, had had an issue with a knocking noise that eminated from from the utility room and appeared to be coming from the drain to the washing machine. The last owner had made numerous people to try to find out what was causing it as they thought it was the drain going into the septic system that was causing the noise.
