We have repeatedly experienced a complete lack of communication, follow-through, and urgency regarding our son’s medical care. The phones are rarely answered, and when they are, no one is able to help, or they transfer you to someone who sends you to voicemail. I think the staff at the Athens Clinic is very unprofessional. First off I tried several days to make appointment to be put on hold for 10-15 mins then I would get hung up on. I called several times and this happened. I got an appointment in 5 days and have been out of my medication for 2 days. And they would not refill my medicine for 5 days. If you can’t handle all your patients, quit seeing so many….clearly you can’t handle them! This place will hardly call you back after multiple messages left, it takes on average an hour to be seen after having an appointment and some of the employees have no idea what they’re doing. The wait time to be seen for a scheduled appointment is over an hour! I understand that delays happen but every time??
Dr. Pittman is hands down the best doctor we have ever seen. I saw him for the first time a week ago and he listened to every single one of my concerns, was incredibly upbeat and made me feel incredibly comfortable explaining what I'm experiencing, listened to my thoughts and ideas about what's going on and took my preferences to heart.
