Following our loved ones Stroke, She struggled with word finding and recall from short term memory loss. I want to thank Amber for being patient and kind and understanding, when my doctors didn't seem to care. After my stroke, I was told to see a speech therapist, but I didn't know what I needed until I met her. After I met her, I realized that I was in worse shape than I thought. She brought me along with her kindness, and helped me to understand what I needed. She helped me so much, by being my friend and making me understand that I needed therapy. I started therapy with Amber Barnes the last couple of weeks in May due to a stroke I had on May 4th. Amber worked closely with me through therapy to help me to speak clearly from that point until today. She has given me the tools I need to continue to practice. She is such a personable, friendly, & caring therapist. I never expected that I would find a friend through all of this. I would highly recommend Amber to anyone needing speech therapy.

It’s a blessing when you find a good speech therapist. Miss Amber was so helpful and encouraging with my grandpa after his brain surgery, teaching him to talk and swallow again.
