We enjoyed the best meal yesterday at Orillia's East Side Mario's. Hayley provided great service and went over and above! The atmosphere is what impressed us the most. The music wasn't blaring so that you could carry on a conversation at the table and there was just a happy atmosphere. When someone celebrated a birthday, the staff celebrated too. We were so impressed that we asked to speak to the manager, Holly. She was so delightful to talk to and it was one of the best experiences we have had in a restaurant.
Came in with a group of 11. Got a table within 10 mins. Our waitress Lindsay did a wonderful job accommodating our group who had just arrived from the UK. Breads were rolling, drinks were flowing and the food was terrific. Thank you Lindsay!!
Lindsay was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good, too.
Wow- just wow! Having waited three or four minutes at the greeting station and not been acknowledged, I noticed that although the restaurant was busy, there was no one sitting at the bar. There were two servers working the bar who seemed extremely busy, but after they had passed by me a few times in a 5 to 6 minutes time span, and had not made eye contact or said “ i’ll be with you in a minute” or “hello, do you need a drink?
