The East Portland Sash team is fantastic! Geoffrey and his team did an amazing job restoring our 1950's sash windows. They took plenty of time to answer our questions and teach us about our windows while restoring them back into operation. The end product looks and works great. They kept the work areas clean and took great care while in our home. I'd use them again any time I need window work!
We had an unfortunate event of a coupe of rocks being thrown through a front window of our short term rental. The house was built in 1943 and the window was an original. I needed someone skilled in repair/replacement of old windows to replace the broken panel as quickly as possible. Very professional and good humans. It was a complicated job for others who came, but for them they just got it done and it's beautiful. Ours was a wood window custom-built for a tilting balcony addition in a 1917 home.They did an excellent job, and it's seamless to the house style, specs, etc. The new opening windows will be beautiful, and they didn't try to oversell or convince us to upgrade specific mechanisms since this room isn't used often. I called East Portland Sash about some old wooden stained glass windows I was looking to restore. I met the owner, Geoffrey, at the shop and he took his time considering my project, talking me through it and explaining the process and giving me great advice.
