Terrible food and Worst Customer Service – We went to this restaurant on 1/7/2012 for dinner and ordered a dish with fried scallop, squid and pork chop with garlic and red pepper. We had always ordered this dish. This time it was so spicy that it was impossible to swallow. At first, we told the waitress that it was unbearable spicy. She told us there is nothing she can do. Cheap lunch – EOC is a standard Chinatown restaurant. You walk past the dirty fish tanks, displaying fresh fish on the way in. The dining room is made up of dingy tables, but they have white linens. Like the rest of Chinatown I don't really want to see the kitchen, but the food that comes out tastes alright. I have only gone to lunch at this restaurant, but the menu is cheap and they are flexible and will make whatever you like. Service is fairly attentive. Impressive decor, selection and quality – I recently stopped by East Ocean City with a particularly fussy friend, who dislikes some of the "hole in the wall" feel of a typical Chinatown restaurant. Not so here. White tablecloths, prompt seating, complimentary starters were just a beginning of the experience here. Don't go here...Worst customer service – My friends and I visited this place on o1/31/2010. We ordered something called "Love bird fried rice". It had CHICKEN, shrimp, GREEN BEANS and bunch of other veggies. One of my friends and I ordered the dish WITHOUT CHICKEN. After waiting for our dish about 15 minutes the waiter brought us the food (in a pie plate). It didn't look very appetizing. Worst Chinese restaurant in China town Boston – I was at the restaurant on Fridays, March 6th, 2009. It was my first time at the restaurant, the food were good. I was so disappoint with your service. One of the waiter brought out the calculator to calculate for the tips. He demands that I have to come up 2 more dollars for tips. The total amount spent at the restaurant was $91.06 included tax.
