Been going to Dr Dixon for years off and on. He's a fantastic DVM, who's intelligent and quick at diagnosing and treating. I highly recommend him and I have friends in Albuquerque who will only go to Dixon now. Also his front desk is great. His stuff is amazing even though they are super busy. If you have after hours emergency call the number page of doctor he'll get you in at any tim. They are a third of the price of the big vet ER hospitals. If I could give zero stars I would. This was one of the most reckless and terrifying experiences I have ever had with any medical professional. My pet was kept for nine hours and then sent home on very serious heart medications that it turned out she absolutely did not need. I was told my girl possibly “had heart cancer” and would require major cardiac testing and treatment. Later I realized they made these claims without even waiting for the blood test results.
