No whales on our trip but it was an epic day for dolphins. Capt NJ Nick made the trip even sweeter. We were in the middle of a stampede of what looked like > 100 common dolphins at one point and later quite few bottlenose. The new boat had shock absorbing seats for the ride out and in along with a nice front deck the family could follow the animals on.
My husband and I had the best experience on Captain Nick's whale watching tour over Labor Day Weekend. After initially being on the fence (what if we spend 2 hours of our vacation time and don't see anything remarkable?), we went for it, and I'm so glad we did! We saw a humpback whale, sea lions, and a pod of 150-200 dolphins. We could not be more grateful for this opportunity and we hope to be back someday. Absolutely incredible experience, thank you so much Captain Nick!
Hands down great family experience with CAPT Nick. Awesome small boat with great seats. You are totally close to the action. Dolphins, sea lions, harbor seals abound. Friendly and welcoming. Easy in and out. Just the right amount of sea and sun. Exactly the type of experience that brings us back again and again.
Exceeded our expectations! We are so glad we did the private adventure which was the highlight of our vacation. Captain Nick was so nice and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this excursion. Was a little worried how rough the seas would be with young kids but the boat was fairly smooth and the suspension seats made a big difference.
