I was anxious thinking I needed surgery. Dr. Dawson,MD, FAAOS, was extremely knowledgeable and comforting at the same time. He answered all my questions with patience. His assessment was thorough and I felt he knew what was the problem right away. He made me feel heard. He is an asset to this Clinic.
Back in February 2024, I had a rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder at the Hilo Medical Center Orthopedic Clinic. Dr. Danner did an excellent job on me. He checked up on my progress regularly and reminded me to keep my arm in the sling at all times and just rest and relax until I start physical therapy. Today I am doing great. I’m at 95% range of motion and feel absolutely no pain whatsoever. I recommend Dr. Danner and the friendly staff at the HMC Orthopedic Clinic. Mahalo Dr. Danner, you’re awesome.
Wonderful experience here at East Hawaii Orthopedics and with Dr. Dawson. Kind and caring office and nursing staff. Dr. Dawson really took his time each appointment making sure all of our questions were answered and genuinely cared. Proud we have this clinic here in Hilo. Finally getting some quality medical care around here.
