Excellent health care for the past year.
All of the care I have received at EHHC has been incredible. This clinic is extremely busy serving a large community and it can sometimes be a wait. The Urgent Care staff and providers were kind, thorough, and genuinely cared. The receptionists were swift and courteous. My family members were patients in the primary care. They were alway treated with respect and their health concerns were addressed with dignity. My daughter was a patient at the mental health department in the same parking lot. There are better options but if your insurance requires your treatment be here, make sure you are taken care of!! They will try to schedule you as far out as possible even if you have a serious or potentially serious situation. I saw Dr.White on one issue but asked for an opinion on another. He then told me he knew my situation could get serious but didn’t look out to make sure I got an appointment to get my issue, a cavity with infection, seen as soon as possible. Brought my daughter here on a Sunday. There were no pther patients in line so I thought surely we'd be in and out quickly! My daughter presented with fever, severe ear pain, headache, nausea and vomiting. AFTER we check in, they inform us everyone is going to lunch! They will resume service in 40 minutes. An hour and half later, we are still waiting. They have not retured from lunch per the receptionist. Had I known the entire place shuts down for lunch, we would have gone to Hilo ER.... but kinda late for that now hopefully... read more
Called the facility to be looked at and they searched my name info in their system. Because I've been there before in the past. Was told by one of the Staff over the phone they could see. This was even after providing my insurance information over the phone. When I gave them the information and insurance card, I was told they don't take that kind of insurance. Please train your staff because your wasting our time. SMH
