I recently had Russ from East Goscote Plumbers Ltd visit to service my boiler, which is over 25 years old. Before Russ, I had three different gas engineers look at it, all of whom insisted it was too old and needed replacing. One even refused to touch it, saying it was older than him and he had no idea how to deal with it. Russ, however, approached the job with professionalism and confidence. Absolutely Brill! Had these guys every year for boiler serving in rented accommodation and now carrying on in my first bought home. No mess, pre-call, friendly and helpful young lady. I couldn't have asked for more, it is so rare these days to have such a great customer experience, so when you do it stands out. Keep up the excellent work EGP's.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the installation and commissioning of the air source heat pump (AHP) system at my home. When we moved into the property, we were told that the system was fully set up and that there was no need for us to adjust any settings. I used East Goscote Plumbers recently for an update to my ensuite and a couple of other smaller jobs. Kelvin came to do the work and he did a superb job. I am so pleased with his work; my ensuite looks like new. Kelvin was friendly, professional, worked really hard and tidied up after himself. i cannot fault the service I received. Boiler service booked with a confirmed time window. I stayed in all day and nobody attended, and I received no call or message to explain the absence. I later contacted the company and was told it was due to a “system error”, with the next available appointment offered weeks later. While an apology was given, there was no acknowledgement of the time lost or the inconvenience caused. As a homeowner taking time off work, I expect basic communication and reliability.
