I first brought my spaniel here about a year ago and Dr. Tennakoon and staff were exceptional. Nothing compared to Sept.12th, when we brought our oldest dog, Max there. He was diagnosed with acute stage 4 renal failure. Dr. Tennakoon was very concerned and did all the work up and scans he could. He explained everything to us, and was very compassionate in telling us what it meant for Max. The staff were equally very supportive and sympathetic. The vet is a lovely gentle person. The clinic hours give people an option on the weekend.
I first came to this clinic when I got my Golden Retriever puppy, and since then, it’s been the only place we go for his check-ups and vaccinations. The clinic is new, clean, and welcoming, without that intimidating “hospital” atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and our vet is wonderful, patient, kind, and always takes the time to answer all of my worried puppy-parent questions. I had to bring my girl to East End Veterinary Hospital today after experiencing a post-surgery complication, and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. From the moment I called to arrange an urgent care appointment to the moment we left the clinic, we were treated with kindness.
