I could not have asked for more compassionate or understanding care from every member of the staff. The facility provides a welcoming and tranquil environment for patients and families. My mother-in-law received exceptional care during her final days. The rooms allowed patients’ beds to be rolled outside to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and the family lounge—with a kitchen and refreshments—offered comfort and peace. My family had a very traumatic experience at the Kanas Center. My mother was a patient there for 4 days. During the last day of her life she woke up in pain screaming and shaking which wasn’t supposed to happen but she was under medicated and that’s why she woke up in the first place! We would not refer anyone to this place!
