Ladies particularly should read..... As a woman we too often come across mechanics who see a naive wallet worth absolutely destroying. This doesnt go to say auto repairs are cheap. But its SO hard to find reliable, honest, and grounded mechanics to give it to you straight regardless of your gender. I have been coming to Tuffy for everything from oil changes, to ac repairs. Got sent here by Rescue across the street because they were too busy to take me (they were very apologetic about the inconvenience). What I needed wasn’t an emergency but if I could get it done quick, why not? They told me to ask for Michael. He was absurdly condescending and unhelpful. What I needed was just a tiny clip and he wanted to charge me $25 for it, didn’t offer any other kind of solution.
