Stay away from custom orders. The in-store shopping experience was great. Over a month, still waiting for delivery. Just stay away from any out-of stock items. East Coast apparently has difficulty tracking orders from their distibution and supply chain. Something simple like using Outlook and/or Google reminders and alerts to generate periodic reminders to 'ping' suppliers and keep my customers informed is apparently beyond the capabilities of East Coast Appliance. Sad.

Mr L This is the biggest rip off joint in Tidewater. Then add insult to injury you can not return your purchase . If you walk away happy it is because you do not mind paying inflated prices and you got lucky with your purchase.
Great Sales, poor delivery This actually 2 reviews. One is the sales staff, which were quite knowledgeable and nothing more needs to be said about them except they weren't pushy and they knew their products. The second is the delivery service. Yes it was a Sunday delivery, but, don't make promises you can't keep. No 3 hour advance call, no 1 hour advance call. In fact, we got a call 15 minutes before they showed up. S Sides I recently shopped at East Coast Appliances on Laskin Road. Donna and Kerry gave us excellent service. They were very good at answering our questions and helping us to reach a decision on the dryer we were purchasing. We needed the dryer as quickly as possible for a rental with the renters already at the house. The dryer was delivered on Monday morning, hooked up, and the old dryer taken away. Easy Shopping with Good Customer Service East Coast Appliance & Electronics is perhaps the easiest place to shop in Virginia Beach. Every time that I go there, the sales people are very knowledgeable. They listen to what you want and help you find the best fit for your needs. On my most recent visit, Donna Miller had me out of the store in no time at all with exactly what I wanted. Delivery had been scheduled along with hauling away the old. I recommend East Coast to anyone looking for appliances.
