They will turn off the power on elderly disabled who are on oxygen in sub freezing temperatures and say they do not have to abide by the state laws and are not liable if this person freezes to death and dies. That is straight from a manager. This is after a payment has been scheduled. Their customer services reps are very rude and lack empathy.Their website clearly states they have a medical necessity form and they have to abide by rules set by the OCC.
We always lose power even over a small simple rainstorm. Just this month three separate times left with no power for hours. very annoying. My mom lives less than two mins from me and she never goes without power. She has og&e.
I’ve been an ECOEC customer for over 8 years and I have to say that this utility is best I’ve ever dealt with. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, helpful and friendly people from the CEO to the customer service staff.
