After years of watching my sweet boxer, Pearl, being treated like an inconvenient bump in her doctor's day and paying for literally 6-minute "exams" (no hello or goodbye to her included), our first visit to East Catawba seemed like a different World. We, BOTH, were greeted with enthusiasm and genuine smiles. She received an unrushed, gentle & informed exam that was filled with questions about my concerns, her personality/preferences and her home life. They were sweet and gentle. Dr McLean and staff have been like family to all of our bulldogs!! They have bulldogs as part of their families so they understand them, their personalities, and their health challenges! Dr McLean truly cares about all of his patients. I can’t tell you how many phone calls we have gotten after visits just to check in to see how things are going. East Catawba Animal Hospital is just the best!!!
