We stopped by East Bay Spices while we were at a concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, and we’re so glad we did. The cocktails were amazing, and the food was delicious. I tried the paneer tacos and my wife had the empanada — we both really enjoyed everything. The staff was very friendly, and even though the food took a little longer than expected, the quality was absolutely worth it. Special thanks to the bartender and the whole team for the great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely loved this for a late date-night after taking in a movie at BAMPFA next door. Delicious food & cocktails and a wonderful ambiance. So rare in Berkeley to have a late night spot that serves up vibes & immaculate dining
Used to be so awesome. New location— multiple experiences where I was pretty much ignored until I left.
I used to love this place. We went to enjoy some great food and it was all different. They had moved down the block. The atmosphere is super loud music. The tables are small and cramped. The food was not the same at all. The flatbread chicken tikki was dry and over cooked, the drinks were so so, the tacos were good but the hot sauce drowned out all the rest of the flavor. It was so disappointing
