Two girls volleyball coaches spent the first practice doing nothing but random, unrelated conditioning drills and stretches, and letting one of their daughters play captain (1st practice, so roles and positions had not been established). They had absolutely no structure in their practice and ran overtime by nearly 30min. Our hometown rec department is truly a blessing to this community. The coaches, staff, and volunteers pour so much into these kids — not just teaching sports, but building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and character. The organization is well-run, supportive, and focused on giving every child a positive experience, no matter their skill level. Proud to be part of a town that invests in its kids like this. Highly recommend to any family looking for a great youth sports program! 🏀💚🤍
Sad that I am having to make this post but as a concerned individual I don’t understand how y’all allow coaches which do not support their whole team instead of certain ones. This is either 10u or 12u but when a coach sits and makes comments to another parent about a child is not exceptable. This coach shouldn’t be allowed to coach or be around them since she can’t handle her job. We’ve never had problems with Easley rec until now.
