APS took over a year to evaluate our first grader for additional services. We got a private evaluation done with EASI, and had our daughter qualified for additional services within two weeks of receiving the report. The APS diagnostician said that this was the most complete outside evaluation that they had ever seen. The staff at EASI was very transparent about what services were likely to be useful at this stage of development and discouraged us from seeking services that weren’t likely to be informative.
