Earth Native is such an amazing school and program for people of all ages. My son did their weekly homeschool program for three years and we also took weekend classes. The staff are kind, knowledgeable and supportive. They are the kind of people you look for as mentors for your children. Summer camps always seem like they are active, thriving, and full of memories. I rated the adult Wilderness Survival 101 class a 3 because it was mostly lecture, not the hands on experience I expected. The instructors, especially the leader, Ross, were very knowledgeable and helpful. The most important thing I learned was how to start a fire with my Moraknil knife (love it, purchased at camp) and ferro rod (never heard of this before class, it's like a flint). People who run this school don’t know what they’re doing. This is just a front for some bum guy to own land
Love this program. Kids have a blast no matter the weather and learn. Counselors are outstanding mentors and leaders.
