At first I didn’t understand the bad reviews, our experiences had been pleasant up until today. We purchased a heater for our fish tank a week ago today. It completely stopped working!! When we put it back in it’s original packaging and brought it back we thought we would be able to exchange it even though we didn’t have the receipt. We were told no without the receipt. I was not pleased at all with this place. I bought a mouse out of the fancy FEMALE mouse bin. Well I told the girl showing me them that 2 of the 3 looked beyond pregnant and she like no they’re just really fat. so I bought the smaller one. Well I get home and look the mouse over before putting it with my female, THANK GOD I DID! Well it’s a MALE. puppies I have brought two from them
The staff was incredibly friendly and they had an impressive selection of fish meds. Unfortunately the state of the fish tanks was a little disturbing. The feeder rats and mice enclosures smelled strongly of ammonia. Not only are they still ‘selling’ puppies but it is apparent this is a puppy mill or backyard breeder type situation. Nothing felt good about that. Honestly we need more small family owned pet supply stores like this, if there were no animals here, or strictly fish with clean tanks, I would be giving rave review... read more
Bad customer service, won’t be back
I went in last week to buy a bearded dragon for my daughter. Megan was so fantastic and such a big help. We will definitely be back!
There were several bettas there that were in poor condition. I tried bringing the fact that there was one suffering from extreme finrot and possibly another suffering from SBD. However when I tried to bring it to the lady's attention she treated me like an idiot and said it was NOT finrot (even though the tail was completely rotted off) it was "finnage"🙄🙄🤬🤬🤬 This woman should not be allowed to handle animals if she can not accept a customer trying to help OR giving corrective criticism.
