My kids are in middle school now and still talk about how mean the teachers were at CDL preschool.
My child has been a part of CDL since she was 6 weeks, for 3.5 years. CDL is a developmental program and has meet her where she is at every stage of childhood. The educators are caring and have gone out of their way to establish relationships with my daughter and our family. We feel fortunate that our daughter as been exposed to such a diverse population and has access to all of the resources within the University.
This preschool has everything except love. We initially sent our child here about a month ago because we heard great things—engaging learning activities, nutritious meals, and plenty of toys. Unfortunately, we ended up withdrawing her with great disappointment. The first few weeks went smoothly. We understood that separation anxiety is normal, and we appreciated that she seemed to be hugged and comforted whenever she missed home. However, the loving environment turned out to be superficial.
