Earls is a local treasure. Consistently great sandwiches with their own roasted meats, this type of place has become quite rare. The great alt 80s background soundtrack in the shop is a fun extra!
I recently have moved to work in Clarendon, and I’ve asked my coworkers where can I get a good sandwich, and they recommended this place. I had ordered a Caesar wrap and a chipotle turkey sandwich. This was so delicious i’ve never tasted a Caesar wrap this good. It was well seasoned, great dressing, a 10 out of 10. I will recommend everyone to come here.
Rainy day and I thought I would stop by for a quick sandwich. I got the breaded eggplant. The first thing that wowed me was the bread! It was soft and flavorful. A bread on a sandwich can make or break it. The eggplant was very good, but the slices were way too thin. I wish it had more of a “meaty” bite. Eggplant is cheap compared to meat prices! Great sandwiches. Love the daily-roasted-in-house turkey; and the monthly special blackened salmon with chutney is worthy of a return visit tomorrow before the month ends.
