All of the staff here go above and beyond taking care of my grandfather. I can’t even begin to explain how kind every single staff member has been to my grandpa over the last 7 years. From the front desk to the kitchen staff. He can’t see very well, and they help him so much at meal times. He has developed individual friendships with each one of them and they even let him plant flowers in the Spring and Summer on the outdoor patio to keep him busy and active. Earl Haig is a wonderful residence for adults. My name is Karen Thomas, I am writing this review on my son's profile. My Mom lived at Earl Haig from July 2012 until March 2021. Mom was very happy at Earl Haig and did not want to leave. She is 92 and in long term care and misses everyone. The staff get to know the residence and form connections. Hello, after researching and visiting many independent living residences it was a tremendous relief to have finally found the Earl Haig Retirement Residence. The accommodations are modern, spacious, including walk in shower that help supply a decent and dignified home for anybody. One of the many advantages that I have noticed is that there are only 50 apartments which help make it easy to get to know your new neighbours and future friends. This is your home away from home. Management and staff are first rate
