History Established in 1926. Earl B. Feiden Appliance was founded in 1926 in Latham, NY. Our company evolved from the ice and coal delivery business of the early 1900's. Ice was harvested from the pond on the family farm and delivered to homes by horse and wagon for what was then an "ice box". The farm and original home is located on Watervliet Shaker Rd and still stands today. As new mechanical refrigerators were introduced, Earl B. I earlier posted a one star review after a service technician came and told us he fixed our Sub-Zero, and had not. I'm following up now because, after much this and that - and a helpful talk with Bradley Feiden, owner of the company - we were able to get Ronny to come and work on our refrigerator. Totally incompetent installers, terrible customer service. We made the mistake of buying a washing machine from Feidens. It took literally five visits by a series of incompetent installers over the course of three weeks for them to finally hook up the new machine. One particular pair of installers (whom the sales manager vouched for as highly experienced) punctured the hose attached to the machine and neglected to connect the other end to our drain pipe, flooding our basement.
