I was seen for an ear issue that the doctor did not have the proper competency to address. I asked AI the issue and it got resolved. Second, for the past two months I have attempted to obtain a refund for an overpayment. The competency of the billing department is also questionable. They have not returned calls, neither refunded my overpayment. To all patients, please always check your EOB's. 99% of the times I have been to a medical facility, I have overpaid them. I sought treatment from Dr. Merchant for significant ear pain and was told my symptoms were neurological. I was sent away without additional testing or treatment. After continuing to suffer I now I havre to seek care elsewhere because of fear of wrong diagnosis. I have been loyal patient for years, the reception experienced I received was condescending and unfriendly behavior from the receptionist because am black. I'm surprised by how bad some of the reviews are. I saw Dr. Cohen at Clearwater until he moved to Trinity and now to keep my treatment at Trinity I was seen recently by Dr. Donnelly. Dr. Donnelly was a caring MD, well credentialed, professional, and hilarious. I've also never had issues with the front desk or clinical staff. I would highly recommend.
Initially went in for ear pain. Imaging done shows nothing. Asked about my sinus issues and blown off as if I'm a hypochondriac because the doctor assumed I was talking about normal green when in fact it's orange . Given some kind of steroid solution to go up my nose (on my record there's already adverse reactions listed for steroid use), told incorrectly the process the first time and the second advice didn't help either.
