A totally different kind of garden center Eaker's is out towards Vale, NC and sits way off the road. There are plants all over the place and at great prices. Be prepared to walk through greenhouses and bring a big truck! You'll buy things you didn't intend to. The staff there is very friendly and will walk around and tell you about plants and there are wagons to pull around with you, too.
