Eagles’ Spread Lodge has stunning views and smelled clean when we arrived, but for nearly $8,000 a week the overall experience didn’t match the price. The pool is detached from the house, unlit at night, and the deck is narrow with no fire pit or grill. There were wasps swarming from nests on the porch, which made it hard to enjoy the view. The view is spectacular, the house is great. My only issue with the house was the kitchen accommodations. Bring your own salt and pepper, paper towels, every single herb or spice you might need, sugar, coffee, bottle opener, etc... you will need it.
