I asked the back office for a prescription refill to City Pharmacy. They did not send it. When I went to the pharmacy they called Eagles landing in Jackson and I listened to things like I got my scrips for mail order and they did not know how much I had. I went back to the office and was told that they had sent the script in. I went back to the pharmacy I was given the wrong medicine. i been going there for 3 years with no problems ,so i went for my free medicare yearly checkup and seen sandra ,which i never seen before .but i was told my doctor left.so a few days later i was told i needed thyroid medicine ,they took blood twice and some numbers were a 300 point difference,so i was asking them to be sure i really needed this medicine ,and they said yes.so i started taking it and a few weeks later i started feeling bad,and asked if the dose could be reduced because i was having alot of issues and i was tol... read more
Eagles Landing Family Practice in Jackson has a new policy to see patients who do not have insurance. They have also reduced their self-pay prices to accomodate those who are self-pay. The complaint registered in 2008 is outdated.
My family and I have been patrons of Eagles Landing Family Practice for about 10 years or more now, and was somewhat satisfied for a while but the last few years the service has gotten worse and the Doctors seem to be less professional ...not to mention the billing department which can't seem to get anything right....they bill your insurance company with the wrong information then act like you are a dead-beat cause they screwed up....imbarassing you in front of other patients like theres no way they screwed up and all the ti... read more
Dr. Fortson is a very caring doctor! Wait times can be a little long, would recommend making an appointment. My husband and I have been going to this office since 2007, and we love it. The staff is always professional and polite. The nurse practitioner has even been a shoulder to cry on when we lost our son. They don't treat you like a number! Here you are a person, a name, an individual!
I called the office to get a appointment and was told IF I DIDN'T HAVE INSURANCE THE DOCTOR WOULD NOT SEE ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS A CASH PATIENT. I DON'T BELIEVE THIS IS HOW THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY SHOULD OPERATE BUT THIS IS AMERICA RIGHT.
