I was in the adolescent unit for about a week and it was amazing. It changed my life so much. I was going willingly to get help for suicidal thoughts. They have groups that help. You talk to a provider everyday to talk about a treatment plan. They give you medicine, but you can ask about it and what it does and they will be honest with you.They make you stay out of your room for socializing with peers. Worst place I have ever been. They lock you out of your room all day and make you sit in not comfortable office type chairs and watch tv or listen to music all day besides their “groups” which weren’t helpful. I would never suggest this place to anyone. You can’t draw, color, do a puzzle or anything outside of group. (Actually they didn’t even have those options during group) And staff was very unprofessional. Overnight staff talked crazy loud and laughed all night long while we tried to sleep. Their staff of phenomenally toxic personalities seemingly trying to maximize abuses of patients rights includes such luminaries as the psych practitioner who treated the fine folks at Fort Bragg circa this fine read.

I don't ever leave reviews, especially negative ones but please don't go here. It's depressing, no setting for progressive recovery and unnecessary meds are FORCED/THREATHENED on you.

I was here for the past two times first time I was removed from my home against my will and placed here my stay here for the past two times third one was voluntary but It was so bad and it felt like a prison because I was being gaslight to take things and being told I could not fight it and I get looked at like I'm crazy for talking with god and a higher power because I wanted to talk with him because I was obviously at my lowest.
