I sent Greg at Eagle One Research a bike part for welding in July of 2019. As of November 2020, 17 months later, I am still waiting to get it back. I have sent 25+ emails to him, getting a response about one out of five times. A lot of 'it will be done soon', 'it will be done in a few weeks', 'It will be ready next month'. Obviously these deadlines have come and gone many times now. At this point, I don't think I will ever get my part back, repaired or not.

DO NOT USE AS A GUNSMITH! This was one weird, long and potentially dangerous experience. Let's start with the "ask": Mosin Nagant, 24" Barrel .311 bore with thread for suppressor. Tons of emails to get me to send Greg the stuff as soon as possible. Then I find out, he has no FFL. Fine, send to his local FFL after research on that. I needed some brass couplers re-threaded to accept 1/2” on one end and 3/8” on the other, Greg did me a favor by getting it done last minute for me and did a great job (better than the manufacturer). Not sure why the gripe on the guy, he took care of my little project well and at a reasonable price.

Eagle One R+D talks the talk and their site is very informative. This was the end of my good experience. I sent in a bike part to be repaired and only repaired. It is very clear on the site that repairs are not painted and choosing paint is a more expensive option. When said part was returned not only was it painted, it was done horribly. So bad that besides looking terrible and not the right color, the part could not be reinstalled.
