Becky and I just refinished our mortgage with Eagle Mortgage Company. Jon Ivey was Incredible organizing everything. We didn’t run into any problems, everything was done in a professional manner, timely, and to our complete satisfaction..We got a rate that almost cut in half our mortgage payment about which we be were very happy. Trust me when I say, there is a reason why their reviews are so low. There is little to no communication throughout the entire process. The builder encourages you to use them because they own the company. This was literally the worst business experience I've had with any company. If they offer to pay closing costs, pass and go with a lender who will actually give a shit. I promise it'll be worth the few extra dollars. I was guaranteed to get $990 back at closing and they have yet to live up to the deal. They sent me a check ... read more

Was “closing” for a month straight. Got a call 2 days before stating my date was moved. Was sent 25-30 documents the day before closing. Was promised the next day a closing. Turns out I was never approved for the house the financial advisor BRIAN WESTBROOK of Irving Texas just messed up the paperwork. The whole company is a joke. Without a doubt the worst Mortgage company we have ever worked with. As Realtors we have seen many, and this one is terrible. Our LO - Ali Makhani, and his Manger - Kurt Schweinsberg showed a lack of customer service that was unbelievable. After Kurt told our client that she reminded him of his mother, he lied to her and us. Our client elected to pay cash. Would recommend using any company other than this. Very very poor experience. Six months of underwriting a mortgage to be informed 2 weeks before closing that is was declined after being informed an approval. It is apparent that this company places profit above people or integrity. I would caution not only of using them but have a back up of a reputable lender that you can trust when they mislead you.
