Becky and I just refinished our mortgage with Eagle Mortgage Company. Jon Ivey was Incredible organizing everything. We didn’t run into any problems, everything was done in a professional manner, timely, and to our complete satisfaction..We got a rate that almost cut in half our mortgage payment about which we be were very happy. Trust me when I say, there is a reason why their reviews are so low. There is little to no communication throughout the entire process. The builder encourages you to use them because they own the company. This was literally the worst business experience I've had with any company. If they offer to pay closing costs, pass and go with a lender who will actually give a shit. I promise it'll be worth the few extra dollars. Without a doubt the worst Mortgage company we have ever worked with. As Realtors we have seen many, and this one is terrible. Our LO - Ali Makhani, and his Manger - Kurt Schweinsberg showed a lack of customer service that was unbelievable. After Kurt told our client that she reminded him of his mother, he lied to her and us. Our client elected to pay cash. The people in the same building as them ( Cal Atlantic Title) that we closed with, told us that they were shocked at how Eagle Mortgage treats people. I would never recomm... read more
