It's a tiny "observatory", probably the size of the garage. They have two small professional telescopes, but it really depends on the weather. We had the cloudy sky and were shown a couple of galaxy pictures from the computer. The presentation could be improved a lot and made much more engaging, at least for kids. I'd probably recommend McDonald observatory instead. This one not worth your time and money.
We had a great visiting the small Eagle Eye Observatory in the Canyon of the Eagles. The astronomer there, Phil, was very knowledgeable and made the explanations of the different stars and star clusters that we saw there very interesting. We even got to see a bunch of meteors from the residual Orionid meteor shower serendipitously. As a city folk, I've never seen stars before, so I was surprised to find out they're real. Turns out there are like forty satellites, too, constantly visible in the sky when it's not being obfuscated by a sea of terra-firma stars. 10/10, would get abducted again.
EAGLE EYE OBSERVATORY has a 4.5 star rating with 141 reviews.
EAGLE EYE OBSERVATORY is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
